Stephen F. Daugherty, MD, FACS, earned his BA degree, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University. He graduated from Emory University School of Medicine, cum laude, and completed his Surgical Residency at Scott and White Clinic and Hospital in Temple, Texas. He is a Registered Vascular Technologist and an Eagle Scout.
Dr. Daugherty is a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He established the Vascular Laboratory at Gateway Medical Center and has introduced many new surgical procedures and technologies to surgical patients in Clarksville. He is a member of multiple professional specialty societies including the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Society of Endovascular Surgeons.
Dr. Daugherty specializes in Vascular, General, Thoracic, Endovascular, and Laparoscopic Surgery.
Non-invasive laboratory studies for evaluation of vascular disease are provided in the office and in the hospital vascular laboratory. Minimally invasive procedures for management of vascular disease are provided to appropriate patients in addition to open reconstructive vascular surgical procedures. Surgical critical care, medical nutritional support, and laparoscopic surgery are additional areas of interest.
